What it is

Most "learn AI" camps teach you to prompt. We start somewhere different: who you actually want to be. Over two weeks you'll build an alter ego — a sharper, more intentional version of yourself — then use it as the foundation for a real brand, a real website, and a real online presence you're still running after the program ends.

Who it's for

Grades 8–12. Max 15 students, so you get real feedback, not a lecture.

Bring your own laptop with admin rights, plus a Claude Pro or ChatGPT account. These are real costs, and we're upfront about them before day one.

Week One
Day 1 — identity
Identity & alter ego work → a brand brief.
Day 2 — brand
Name, logo, colour, type → a brand kit.
Day 3 — voice
Voice & a content shoot → a content bank.
Day 4 — build
Build your site in Framer → a working draft.
Day 5 — ship
Polish, publish, pitch → a live URL + family showcase.

Every day: an innerwork opener, a mini-lesson, two build blocks, a crit circle, and a progress log — so you always know exactly what you shipped.

Week Two

You'll use AI agents to keep growing what you built: improving your brand and site, helping with marketing, and building your own AI study tutor. No marks — just a deliverables checklist and a portfolio you actually own.

Why it's different

AI is a design partner here, not the author. And the identity work isn't a warm-up exercise — it runs through the whole two weeks, taught by a psychotherapist, not a slide deck.

Alter Ego Lab is an independent program run by Brad and Jackie, entirely outside of and unaffiliated with any school board, including Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. It uses no board facilities, staff, equipment or branding, and is not endorsed by or run through any board.
